Honestly don't see the issue here. Vardy is on fire and was pretty confident of scoring it. I'm delighted he's still got a chance of breaking the record. Also he won the penalty from his run and Mahrez happily gave him it.

There is no issue....no issue at all.

It just seemed strange to me given how the match was so precariously balanced and I canvassed opinion to see what others thought.

He might not be the designated penalty taker but doesn't necessarily be rubbish at penalties, does it? Lukaku is our designated taker but Baines is better at them IMO.
