What are we complaining about?
EVARTON!!

Well that's clearly wrong, Diaz offside, Ashley young pen against utd, so that's two against off the top of my head
I assume it means decisions which the league/PGMOL accept were wrong, rather than just subjectively whether we think it was right or not. Diaz definitely wasn't offside under the rules as they are though. I personally think that should be offside but it's well established that it isn't.

Yes, that's how I interpreted it.

If anything, it shows how shafted we are by the authorities - to the extent that they don't feel the need to admit when mistakes cost us.

I hope they sit down and sort out this "insufficient Holding" grey area when it comes to fouls from corners etc.

It's either a contact sport, or it isn't.

The world cup was vastly improved years ago when it was decided any pull on an opponents shirt was punishable.

The Norgaard intervention was correct. How 3 people can look at that and not call it serious foul play is beyond comprehension.

The lack of intervention on Tarkowski was incorrect, it was an obvious red.

It really isn't that simple though and never will be. Football is neither a contact sport nor a non-contact sport, it's a limited contact sport. Nobody wants a situation where it's a foul every time you touch an opposition player so there will always be grey areas.

Which is why "clear and obvious " and "directive" have been misused and weighted in favour of the PL's marketing agenda and not in refereeing fair play.

Hopefully in time, automation will have enough data to deem in all probability, what is fair and what isn't and take bias out of it.
