Both team were set up 5-2-3 yesterday, so it was always going to be a tight affair. Not to mention Netherlands certainly had the chances to prevent both extra time and pens.

That setup made it a no-brainer to bet on Costa Rica +1 in regulation. If Netherlands wins 1-0, the bet is negated. If it goes to extra time, I win. It was a bet with no risk.

I would tend to think that if you were playing a team whose best player was a Fulham reserve and you had the likes of Robben and Schneider, a good manager would win in 90 minutes.
