whats your stance towards vaccinations?

we all have noticed how it has become huge business and therefore very fashionable target for conspiracy theorists.
, ive also noticed that theres rather alarming change in puplic attitude towards them. many families dont want to vaccinate their children.

(we have this milionaire who owns several big markets and puplishes his own circular what should be pure advertisement but he spreads his pseudohippie stuff innit. he has been fined for 50,000 euros for puplishing antisemitic columns. he has a thingy against vaccinations and scares peeps with these odd columns, in recent writing he said vaccinations can cause symptoms that can be misread by doctors to be family violence ffs.)

Meh. The NHS know more about it than I do. If they say you should get vaccinated then you should IMO, unless you've had history or really done your research.

Pros and cons mate - on the pro side they're one of the most successful medical discoveries in human history, save millions of lives each year, as well as preventing horrible conditions like polio for millions more. They've eradicated smallpox full stop and hammered the incidence of things like diptheria, measles and infants tetanus. Immunisation against cervical cancer is now being rolled out for young women with the potential to drastically cut the incidence of a major cancer in society.

Cons - well, when you got the TB jab at school it hurt a bit and the lids would go round ****ting your left arm in the yard.

I say read up a bit on what they are pumping into your body.

For instance, the flu vaccine they recommend you get yearly, and run ads saying babies and old people are most at risk and should deffo get it. If you actually look at the vendor provided documentation they state that no clinical trials have been run on infants under 24 months old and it is not recommended to be administered.

To be honest, let you immune system do it's job.

And for the cervical cancer thing, it is looking like the HPV jab is doing much more harm than good. Do your research and make an informed choice about what you put into your body.

In a round about way, based on the above, you should fully support your government then. They obviously know what they are doing.....career politicians and all that, elected by their peers.

Do you get free vaccinations over there mate? I assume yes, but was wondering.

While I was in the Navy they were all free, but that doesn't mean I took them because they were free. In civilian life they are most definately NOT free. You either pay for them out of your own pocket or your medical insurance (that you pay daft money for) covers it.

Here in NZ, I have absolutely no idea if they are free or not.

you have to be a complete moron to not get whatever vaccinations a qualified doctor(knows a whole lot more than you about it) tells you to have

Christ, so in the US, (didnt know you were in NZ now), there is no public immunisation programme?

You have to be an absolute moron if you don't realize that the average GP doesn't have any specific training on vaccinations short of a couple of hours spent while training then relying on the brief documentation provided by pharma with their product.
