For all my love of Deuce, he's a bit kopite

I think he just wanted paid. He was only on like 12K/week at Fulham. I'm sure he would have wanted to force a move to Everton if we were only top 6 club bidding on him.

He's also a young 32, can get up in the air extremely well and pace isn't really his game. Playing in the MLS, where the regular season doesn't matter and you get to skip matches when international tourneys come isn't as taxing on your body like in the Euro leagues.

Plus he's even got the smarts to eliminate himself from frivilous things like the US Open Cup.

Wow. Haiti had a good game here and we had a terrible one, and it was a close one.

We need to get our s*** sorted. And fast.

We aren't taking the group stage seriously and to be honest why should we? The only real goal in the group stage is to keep our players fresh and not injured.

That being said, Haiti might actually be somewhat decent. Panama is good enough to make the Hex and they gave them a good match as well.

Making 7 changes made it clear that Klinsmann thought Haiti were a walk over. Clearly he got it wrong. We were poor.

The change at the half, however, was spot on.

Panama's star is fading fast. Blas Perez is a BAMF but he's also 34. This is probably his last tournament. Same with Luis Tejada and Gabriel Gomez.
