Another Nigerian - Mr Abubakar Tafawa Balewa. Was the first Prime Minister of independent Nigeria in the 1960s. The name just stuck in my head for some reason.

First car registration 8832 KC - Austin A40 Farina.

Present PM Theresa May, nothing more useless than that lollollol
Always remember the Zimbabwean politicians Canaan Banana and Bishop Abel Muzorewa - fine names.

We had finished work for the day one lovely warm evening last summer.

An Egyptian mate of ours told us about a little party going on at one of the plush rooftop bars in the city. Not ones to miss out on such an occasion, me and a Spanish colleague hopped on our bikes and cycled to the place. Our Egyptian mate Mo (Mohamed) told us to give him a call once we’re outside the building, as there was a guest list and he was going to just give us two names of the people already upstairs to they would just check the list and wave us in. We got there, rang him and he goes “right, I am gonna send you a text now with the two names, just say that’s who you are and see you in a few minutes”. The problem became apparent immediately. The first name was Agabdene Ngowkah (not 100% correct, but pretty much sounded like that if you were to read it out), which couldn’t sound less white if it tried. Can’t remember the second name, but needless to say we didn’t even try it.

Kin divvy, haha.

TL;DR
One of our colleagues invited us to a rooftop party and gave the names of two people on guest list to get in. Names sounded like African princes trying to scam you via email. Didn't get in.

Can still remember my mums co,op divi number from the old co,op at Page Moss 131229, also the hymn number from junior school for the hymn, all things bright and beautiful 444. And I've got a memory like a sieve.

An insomniacs thought : why can't I barely remember what happened last week when I can remember all the names that were on my old school register, (do they still have them ?).

I used to work in the Passport Office (pre-computer days), and for people who were banned from having a passport they were listed in huge books, the size that you see Peter Cushing consulting in old libraries whilst hunting vampires. So, one of the most tedious jobs imaginable, was checking all the names on the passport application to see if they corresponded to any of of the names in the vast tomes. For some unknown reason, I can recall one of the names in one of those humongous books : Tunde Ademole Oyegoke. A Nigerian name, one of hundreds, but it's just stuck there in the mind, popping up at 3.00 am to annoy me.

Enlighten me further with your useless information retained, or not, I suspect not. I'm going to peel some spuds and carrots to relieve the boredom.
I'm somehow reminded of the countless passport forms I had to witness, as a teacher, that were sent back to do again, because an atom of ink from my signature (I have a long name) had touched the box outline.

I friggin well detest forms!

This was the likes of you was it?

Dependent on the size of my hangover that day. :)
