If ZamZar doesn't work, then QuickTime can convert to MP4 as well or at least it can on the Mac so that's another option. If not, iTunes should convert mp3 to mp4.

To add to this...

@AndyC you can change the codec in iTunes to convert the imported files one by one or you can change the import settings to automatically convert them when importing.

I can't remember the actual location of the settings but i do remember telling someone this a while back and they said when they googled there were a few videos on youtube and websites with directions on how to convert all formats to mp4 for iTunes. (the main import setting lets you choose multiple options so you can choose mp4 on the dropdown)

If you have VLC media player also it allows you to convert video and audio files...
