Was it me or did that match lack the usual chippiness between the teams? I might have seen one or two questionable fouls but it looked to me like one of the most "friendly" USA vs. Mexico matches I've ever seen.

It really didn't pick up until the goal and it appeared like both teams were going through the motions. The Wed night and the small crowd didn't help either. It picked up a bit after the goal but still not that heated and clean. Both sets of players haven't really played against each other so no bad blood I guess. Mexico's side is thankfully lack of players like Marquez who become thugs once they start losing too.

Agree with everyone above really:

1. Midfield was overrun - (JFT, where art thou?).
2. Jones was a turnover machine.
3. Beckerman is slow but he is NEVER out of position.
4. Castillo - who knew?
5. No idea what MOF was doing in the 6 yard box, but who cares?
6. Heal up LD.
7. Geoff Cameron - see you in 2014.
8. Tim Howard = BEAST.
9. Gomez worked his ass off.
10. Convinced Boyd is a star in the making. Plus, I love his attitude. When that kid finally scores for us I think he's going to implode.
11. Way to put the big boy pants on Brek.

And frankly, who the hell cares about any of the above because:

1-23-1.

There were guys on both sides helping each other up and apologizing for fouls. I wanted to vomit.
