USA Toffees, World Cup chances?

Altidore up front yeah?

That's what I'm thinking. The US have been progressing (a bit!!) as a side from tournament to tournament since '94, but I had a look at their provisional squad options and thought that's weaker than they've looked for a while, so was interested to see what anyone else thought.

Brace yourselves...we're starting next season with Robles...cos old Tim is coming from Brazil with severe back strain from fetching balls from the back of his net.

If only Holden and Davies stayed fit. :( We were so much fun to watch with Davies especially.

Chances of advancing 35%. We have nothing out wide (Donovan and Dempsey can play on the wing but they like to cut inside) so therefore we are going to have to ram everything right up the middle. It won't be pretty. Plus Ghana's defense is strongest in the center of the pitch. We have Germany last which if they take care of business and win their first 2 that's a huge advantage for us. I wish all of our matches were in the middle of the jungle. I think we'd do well there, can't be any different than playing in central america and mexico or even LA in the summer.

If we do get out of the group though, we probably get Belgium and with all their injuries I think we have a good chance of getting to the round of 8.
