Pienaar was the best/most dangerous player for SA by far.
Former Everton trialist Delron Buckley had a few nice passes but was anonymous for the most part.
Howard had one good save but really didn't have much to do.
USA dominated first half but SA really got into it the 2nd half and created many more dangerous chances than in the first half. McCarthy should have been booked for diving in the box (in my opinion) trying to win a pk but overall, a good win for the USA.
Both Altidore and Adu got to play up front. Altidore came in as a sub and really didn't do more than defend.
Adu however started the match and had several nifty moves. You can see that his time with Benfica has helped him grow in confidence. Seems much more assured and composed on the ball.
