You want to see what the Chinese are doing (already). Now that really is terrifying.

See what happened in early 2010.

When they redirected ALL American network traffic through Chinese servers for 17 minutes.

Including Military networks.

I kid ye not.


For every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction.

The Iranians are at. The North Koreans etc. And others.

They just don't publish it.

Ah yes our govt is "broke" yet there always seems to be enough money to throw away to keep our Surveillance state alive.

You do know it's congress who are responsible for governing and regulations of the military now and not Obama lad?

US Constitution says so.
 
i`d be surprised if this scheme hasnt been in use for ages and its only getting into the public domain now

Yes but Obama legitimized it and his campaign was a bald face lie. This quote by J. Balkan pretty much sums it up.

After the Obama presidency, opponents of a vigorous national surveillance state will be outliers in American politics; they will have no home in either major political party. Their views will be, to use one of my favorite theoretical terms, "off the wall."

There has already been a massive transfer of govt spending to "keep us safe" from some unknown boogieman and its only going to get bigger and bigger.
