Now underway (albeit with some weather delays) at Oakmont Country Club. One of America's truly great courses with previous winners including Sarazen, Armour, Snead, Hogan, Nicklaus, and Els. Who will it be? One of the big three of McIlroy, Day and Spieth or the field?

Jason. Day is so consistent could well add us open. To his achievements

Hard to go past Day and Spieth. Can't see McIlroy in the hunt come Sunday though, don't think his putting is good enough.

My dark horses (not exactly dark, but picks outside the big 3) would be Brandt Snedeker, Bubba Watson, Brooks Koepka. Mixture of form, solid putting and a bit of past history at Oakmont in Watson's case.

I like Matsuyama's game. He's posted some good finishes in the Majors

Westwood won't win a major his putting will always let him down.

Definitely a very steady player, just think this course may be too long for him to really contend.
