Give this man a cigar.

It's been THEIR religious extremism that has been the root cause of all of the issues.

Yet there are still those who are willfully ignorant that want to blame the West for all that's happened in the Middle East.

Religious extremism... I wonder....

Britain have got those fighter planes too...except there's no aircraft carrier for them to go on ...

...meanwhile another load of pensioners die from hyperthermia; kids in welfare dependent families go short; and hospital wards are closed down.

...fcuk going after Iran, string those Old Etonian tvvats up by the balls and smack them with baseball bats.

Davek. When are you going to learn?

I'm no field marshal like, but it's funny how Americans are all over a threat to the peace when there's oil involved. There's basically a Nazi regime going on in North Korea, but due to the fact money can't be made from their natural resources The US are more interested in getting involved in someone else's dispute which just happens to be in the equivalent of a diamond mine.

I know there's obviously more to it than that, and maybe I'm just being a young, naive idiot but that's just the way it seems to me. No offense to any Americans like, it's your government, not you.

"Threat to national security" - includes the supply of energy and other commodities in a countries vital economic and social interest.

Its viewed as a threat to world peace if a country starts trying to impact the global economy. Which is why the Chinese are in agreement over the Iran sanctions. China too wants to see a stable middle-east. Not just the west.

The fact is Azzuri, only the US, UK, France, Italy have genuine what is termed a genuine "blue water" navy. i.e. one that can operate on the other side of the world.

The US having the biggest fleet in the world is obviously going to be involved in maintaining maritime trade routes. There's just no way the international community would allow Iran to block the Hormuz.

Militarily they couldn't do it either even if they attempted it.
