Above and Beyond were infinantly better than Paul Van Dyk at Creamfields this year. Although tbf I was on a major comedown during PVD. Spent all night in my tent curled up in a ball genuinly terrified I was going to **** myself.

Early 90s and i went with my gf of the time to see James when we were at Uni. They were pretty good trotting out their hits but I and many others were still in awe of a group called Radiohead who had just finished their set with a jaw dropping awesome song called Creep,

when queen supported mott the hoople(awaits old fart jokes) 1973(feels old)

Would have to agree with you on that, Mott were a great band but Queen just blew them away. Went to see this tour at the Vicky Hall in Hanley and Queen were that good went to the Manchester show 2 nights later, the good old days when you could turn up to a major bands gig and pay at the door.

I was gonna mention that my brother told me about that. At the Liverpool stadium?

My brother is an old fart like. Haha.

thats the one, great days then, watched bands regular. pay at the door,or book at the precinct (st johns). much easier than todays internet bull****, and CHEAPER.

Strange, I really rate Reginald D Hunter too. This Hughes lad must be sensational.

The Fritzl sketch Hunter does gets me everytime I see it ^^

Hunter was OK, but his live show is nothing like his appearances on various panel shows. He teands to ramble on a bit without any jokes! Put it this way, wouldnt go to see him again, but Steve Hughes, I would.
