This was very close to where I sit. Was taken away with an oxygen mask on. The stewards and then paramedics were there fairly sharpish. Props to the fella who was stood up shouting for a medic straight away.

My friend asked one of the stewards involved after the final whistle who said he was OK at that point. Hopefully it is still the case.

Bloody hell, we'll only need a capacity of 15k in that new stadium at this rate!
Seriously though, hope he makes a quick recovery.

My late dad years ago took a ball to the face in the Park End. Broke his glasses, and cut his face. They took him down to the medical facility, and his treatment was superb.

He was gutted about missing the rest of the match though. Took him a while to like Pienaar after that!

Lovely story! RIP your Da.

Mine died in 08 and one of his last memories was of us beating Sunderland 3-0 on Boxing Day. He died on the 30th.

My old dad was a Gooner - he couldn't help it, growing up in Poland in the 1930s they were the only English team he heard about.
He had Alzheimer's in the last few years and the only time he became the dad I knew was when he watched Arsenal on MOTD. He kicked every ball and knew the names of some of the players even when he didn't know who I was.
