I voted for Allardyce simply because he is manager of our club as I would have done if David Unsworth was made manager.....it's the club I support not the person managing it.
However, I would like to reserve the right to whinge if we ever end up looking like a Koeman side again, but we have improved massively of late.

I wanted Unsworth to be given more time right up to the Southampton defeat.
He tried to play a different way but our aging and slow back 4 were having none of it but he did start the recovery because before him we barely looked like scoring.
I still think that given more time and a window or two to replace our back 4 we would be happier with the squad and football but I think most of the senior players knew they had no place with this change in style.
When relegation became a real possibility it was just too risky and with this squad Big Sam is by far the best of what he does so apart from feeling a bit sorry for Unsworth I'm happy.
The mistake was appointing Koeman and Walsh to drastically change our style after Martinez not giving Unsworth more time.
