I used to watch the icicle Works in the pub next to the bombed out church - The Masonic I think it was called - I can still recall the first time I heard Whisper to a Scream. Ace - Chris was an amazing drummer even back then

Putting another drummer with him for that song was a master stroke.

* Did you know that you can "hire " Ian McNabb for functions / parties, for a smallish fee and all the ale he can drink ?.

He sings all their songs and will stay as long as he's being topped up !

Not sure if this is in here already, but A Hard Days Night opening chord.

Not the biggest Beatles fan in the world, and this isn't one of their best songs, but in terms of a well put together opening Chord that's unmistakable and iconic, it's pretty impressive.
