just thought I would start this thread as I was waiting on a Chelsea win for £2275.00.
Late heartbreak does me in.

Also last year on my betting account thought I placed a £200 bet but few hours later realised I pressed an extra 0 and lost 2 grand.

Any tales of woe from others to ,make me feel better?

unlucky mate, that's sad news

I was waiting on a little treble the other time we played in europa

needed spurs to win to net me like £110, but that slaven bilic team equalised right at the death meaning I lost

but the worst thing my online account showed I had my winnings for about 15 mins, making it even worse when they snatched all my lovely loot back off me
 
Well Arsenal Ruto let me down the other day for about £300 but I've had nothing like that! Once heard from one mate about one of his who was set to win something like £2000 odd and Arsenal conceded in like the last 2 minutes. He bought everyone he was with a round as well because he was that sure he was on to win it lol

There was a lad on twitter today who was waiting on chelsea to win, to win 4000 on like a 2 quid bet, utd equalised last minute, ha, gutted for him
 

I've had a few horrible experiences with Everton, biggest one was when me and my mate put a fiver each on a 15 team accumulator during my college years, It was a night of Champions league and Coca Cola cup action back in 1999, all 14 teams sailed in but my beloved lost at home against the mighty Oxford Utd with Joey Beaucamp scoring the goal. Cost us 14k in total. Talk about being gutted would have got us off the stable diet of beans and toast for a while.

Couple of years back Roberto and his Wigan held us to a 2-2 draw, i would have collected 3k if we had won. Think this was the day i finally had enough of Moyes, felt he settled for the point that day when we levelled.
 
I don't put a penny on us cos I'm a proper Jinx.

Mate told me he was in a syndicate with a horse & it was in Gold Cup, had already won a couple of big races btw, said bet every penny I could on it (and this was when it was about 20/1 when 1st entered), told him if I put a penny on it would be shot on the course. IT WON.... Imperial Commander.

He had a LOT on it apparently, share of winnings wasn't that much once split but he made a right few quid at the bookies.

Said it was about 3 or 4 years wages.



He pished most of it up the wall, and what he didn't went up his hooter.
 
I had us to draw against United at Old Trafford last season on a 8 team acca, every other game came in, would have won £1000 if Oviedo never scored.
