I'm in my first year of college and will need to be looking in to universities soon. So I come to GOT to ask, has any of you lids been to University, if so where ? And do you have any tips/ideas to help me chose a course/university ?

Don't go to University if you have a girlfriend - I don't care how long you've been with her/how much you love her. If you move into student halls with a girlfriend you won't be able to have as much fun and experience it properly. I promise you, I made that mistake.

I did a year in halls at Manchester Met. Dropped out because I ultimatly failed the course coz I had too much of a good time.

My only advice, don't sleep with your flatmates. And ****ing do yer work.

I've just applied for Uni arrrrh!

Make sure you go to as many Open Days as possible, the ones that are before Summer 'cos then you can see any others if need be in September/October.

I preferred having money lid. Student girls are boss though, get involved and get the photos lashed up on here.

Wherever you go, make the most of it.

And don't listen to the scaremongers who'll tell you that you'll be in debt up to your eyeballs for the rest of your life, the new coalition system is actually better, imo.

I don't listen to that anyways so I'm alright. And by coalition you mean the government ? Yeah, I remember when Cleggy said he'd reduce Uni fees. Oh how he lied..
