United make 20mill Nasri bid....

Arsene would loathe to sell to United, Chelsea or City. Quite a summer for Arsenal, if they get it wrong i can see them dropping out of the top four.

Spurs or Liverpool would be the obvious answer, though i suspect thats what you were angling for. Either way, Arsenal still don't have a solid keeper, they've sold their first choice left back, their defence as a whole is frail and injury prone and selling Fabregas, Nasri and Arshavin, the 3 players that carry their attack will be a massive gamble.

What's Arse's odds of getting relegated? If its like 300:1 or something it might be worth a 2 quid bet.

Does he actually play as a more deep lying playmaker?

Obviously they're trying to get a new Scholes type player; but Rooney, Nani, Giggs, Young, Park, Valencia, Nasri will all be fighting for essentially 3 places just off of Hernandez.

I'm sure Nasri can play the role well but he always seems much more advanced for Arsenal.

I wasn't angling for anything mate. I just don't think there's any chance of anyone overtaking them. Spurs and Liverpool are both way too weak.

I don't think he ever played as central midfielder in 4-4-2 - which makes him a worse target IMO than Modrić for MU. This is the case with Sneijder as well - he also would struggle doing that, just like van der Vaart.

He can play centrally in 4-3-3 though which of course is obvious.
