Underrated players

Dennis Mortimer...Kirkby lad I think...who was the midfield skipper of Villa in the 70s/80s after he left Coventry. Don't even think he was recognised at International Level...different times I guess unlike now where players get called up with hardly any games under their belt.
 


Agreed. He was like a Rolls Royce.

I remember Colin Todd playing for Everton around that time (he was near the end of his playing days) but I'm not sure if it was just after Dobbo left. He was another Rolls Royce of a player. I wish that he had joined Everton much earlier in his career.
