MOSHIRI OUT
Working from home and the workload is rather light at the moment, so doing a lot of nothing to pass the time.

What're some of the most underrated films? Thinking films that maybe didn't get the recognition they deserved from the critics / box office.

I'm kicking things off with Point Break. Sure, Heat came around and blew it away and yes it does defy the laws of physics. Keanu's performance has always been called into question but I think it kinda fits ol' Johnny Utah! Need to see it again cause pretty sure it withstands the test of time and remains a sweet 90's action flick.

Point Break is a great terrible movie.

Point Break is definitely underrated - Brilliantly directed by Kathryn Bigelow (especially the chase scene where Utah wrecks his knee at the end)

I'd probably go for 'Things to Do in Denver when You're Dead' - I absolutely adore this film but hardly anybody has seen it (Or claims to have)

Great cast (Andy Garcia, Christopher Lloyd, Christopher Walken at his nastiest, William Forsythe, Steve Buscemi and the stunning Gabrielle Anwar) - It's funny, very smart and witty dialogue, tense, occasionally brutal and sad

Never heard of it but quite like the sound of it. Seems to be unfortunate that it came out shortly after Pulp Fiction which it's unfavourably compared to.

Weirdly I agree with pretty much everything above. The flip side though is that people that love underrated movies often go way too far when trying to convert other, so the movie doesn't live up to expectations when they finally watch it. I know I've been guilty of that.
