It already is boss, they dominated the midfield game in the league at Stamford Bridge last year. They had a run of games together were they were excellent

I'm starting to have my doubts Moyes is the right coach to get it out of him. I'm starting to think that to get the very best out of him, he'd have to work under someone like Ferguson. Just to be able to drill what he needs into his head.

From a purely selfish point of view, I don't want to sell him, just in case he comes good

I think a big problem is how moyes has used him, he is 20 years old and still doesnt know his true position. he plays him holding then atacking mid then moves him on the wing then he is sub for a while,then it starts again. He needs to give him a position and let the lad learn it. I think he will become a good player when this happens. I don't think moyes has helped is career one bit.

You're spot on, this was when Arteta was on a 3 match ban; they ran the show at Chelsea and at Man City.

Lo and behold, Arteta came straight back into the squad, stunk the place out till February and Rodwell has done FA since.
