I have always of the mindset that you see the best and worst of peoples characters in a crisis whether that's due to illness , a bereavement , financial problems but this takes some beating .
Obviously it doesn't excuse the violence but I wonder if the victim / perpetrator were known to each other and had some previous history

Oh my God. Is this the real world?

The virus hasn't even properly hit yet and there's not any medical reason for stockpiling it.

It's a panic and shortage created by the people that even if there wasn't any for anybody it would not significantly impact upon our lives.

And now society is literally going to crumble for bog roll.

You've just got to admire it. Never saw that coming.

Another issue with social media; reporting of incorrect facts to keep the scaremongering going.

2+2=5

The fella in question was a baghead who tried to rob a woman, who was getting into her car with her young daughter. He tried to steal her handbag and then demanded her car keys. He was taken down by a member of the public, nobody was stabbed.

Napoleon (I think it was him) stated that civilisation was only 24 hours from its last meal. I disagree - I think there is very little civilisation all the time, the lack is just pretty much well hidden by the masses so long as niceties serve their purpose of self betterment within a society. As soon as the mindset of survival creeps in, with reason or not, the niceties evaporate and they all are prepared to behave like the rs.

Savages.
