In the spirit of Brexit...

Which entity has the superior music, past & present? Bare in mind Eire is EU, so U2 somewhat weakens Europe's claim here.

Great British songwriting vs European avant-garde?

Annoying pop vs cheesy pop?

Madchester vs Berlin School?

Morris-dancing folk vs umpa-umpa-umpapa?

The thing is mate, I know you're buzzing off this and as an outsider looking in it must be very interesting, but a lot of us are done in with what's happening over here.

Sorry to piss on your currywurst.

not buzzing in that sense, larry. me, @roydo and a few other lads were debating who had the best music in the EU thread...thought any musik lovers can get into that here rather than there.

Ridiculous question. Obviously, the soaring musical majesty that is 'Agadoo' will never be equalled by some European, shortly to be cut off from this, the true seat of culture. And you haven't allowed for the USA, home of Lee Marvin and 'I was born under a wandrin' star'. None of your Mozart's, Beethovens, Handel's, Vivaldis, Pucinis and the like could possibly ever equal that quality.

agree on Agadoo, truly the pinnacle of human culture. Lee Marvin is overrated, mind.
