Can't wait for the first data breach of porn viewers... Must be one of stupidest ideas that's been implemented and it's in good company. But it will play well with the ageing religious right vote, which is the intended audience!

I don't think that is the intended audience.

Reckon so, it will please their sensibilities as they appear to be doing something, and of course in reality is very little just as magizines and videos tape were supposedly restricted to under 18s before the internet, and this age pass is more easily ignored with little or no effort.

I’m not normally one for banning things - it’s a very Labour-esque nanny state thing to do.

But I back this. Firstly, it’s not a ban, it’s just tighter regulation. I don’t see how that’s a bad thing - it’ll stop kids accessing it and it’ll prevent some fellas from falling in to a porn addiction that can affect their life.

It’s not going to stop anyone knocking one off when they feel the need.

I hope it’s very successful, and who knows, it may lead to an uptick in productivity.

If it's regulated off line then it should be regulated on line, I don't think anyone here who's against the ban would be OK with allowing 12 year olds into a sex shop to buy some DVD's.

Come on lads, 11 pages and no mention of the legendary GOT print screen betting win with accompanying open porn windows?

Trouble with it though is kids will start looking for alternative sites, most likely coming across low moderation/dodgy ones
