Hey,, Les is a God around these parts lol. Local lad who has done himself proud over the years. Great lad too and always got time for the clubs younger supporters (kids), obviously his addition to the list is a token gesture to the Welsh League but in 40 years time when people talk of legends like messi and ronaldo, Les can show this list to his grand kids.... he is a top top bloke.

It is a pointless list yes because there is only two of them who can really win but there are some surprising inclusions, not just Leslie, who is a great lad according to Kurt. Such as Raul and Coentrao.

That Welsh guy must be good if he gets on the list though.

It would be amazing if the Uefa Player Of The Year was called Leslie!

It's a chosen sports journalist from each UEFA country who nominates their top 3 that make up the short list, and the welsh journalist always always votes for a player in the welsh league, last year his three were Mess at 1, Ronaldo at 2 and Johnston at 3. This year he went for Davies. He just got lucky that there only 32 names nominated by all 56 journalists this year so his man snuck on the list.

It's basically a token gesture isn't it. Just a way of the bosses to show that they do recognise the Welsh league as a proper League.

Scotland's journalist is clearly a sell out who didn't nominate one of 'his' players. Same with the guys representing northern irelnad, andorra, san marino, azerbaijan, kazakhstan and armenia.
