There will also be a little bit from tv money, the extra home games will hopefully bring in some, the success will improve our UEFA co-efficient and that will have value for future European campaigns, plus there's the PR a decent campaign generates both home and abroad, and last but not least it provides both the manager and players with experience of playing in Europe.

A good run in Europe has many benefits providing it doesn't result in a drop off in Premier League performance, which it doesn't seem to be doing thus far.
