One of English footballs leading power-brokers, Chris Nathaniel, the managing director of NVA Management – a multi-faceted entertainment agency, has confirmed that he is acting on behalf of a “UAE-based business consortium” in talks to acquire the English Premier League club Everton.

Chris Nathaniel “I can confirm I am acting on behalf of a UAE-based business consortium, who are chaired by a prominent Dubai businessman, and that I am currently in discussions with a number of Premier League clubs, one of which is Everton Football Club,”

a source who is cited in the The National as being "close to the deal" is quoted as saying, “They have visited the club and discussed future plans and figures, and Nathaniel is now waiting for instructions from his client. [It]could be sooner rather than later”.

I will believe it when I see it.

I have heard it all before, the swiss consortium, Peter Reid and a thailand consortium and countless other rumours that have spung up ever since Bill Kenwright took over.

Personally I dont think anything will happen until we get the Kirkby move rubber stamped. Like it or not with a bigger, more modern stadium we are a better prospect to potential investors.
