Those two cities are horrible. Plenty of ace stuff in the rest of the countries though. I found the Javanese particularly hospitable outside of Jakarta.

Sure Christians are just part of a pseudo-Jewish religion. Persecuting Jews in the past is a bit rich, either Catholic or Protestant, as Jesus was Jewish as was his mother and father - if you believe in that sort of thing. The 12 Apostles were Jewish. Basically, if you think about it: Christians are Jews. Christians worship a Jewish God as Jesus son of man is the holy ghost and is Jewish.

The Jews are pretty good at the persecution game as well.
Jesus got plenty of them for starters, and the early Christians where persecuted all over the show by jews.

While its undoubtable the torah and new testmament contain identical text and sources, the torah is only 5 books of the old testament, the remainder of the old testament is very close to the Tanakh which is the Jewish bible.

The confusion comes with the Catholic Old Testament which includes additional scriptures which addition are questionable in their value (I can talk aboujt this alot more if you want).

When I read and studied the Quran, I couldnt work out if things from the old testament and Tanakh had been changed randomly, by accident or on purpose, but on the whole its a poor copy, that I am certain of.
And then it goes off on a tangent, but thats a whole different debate for another time.

I also think people need to accept that certain groups, people, etc use religion as a excuse for their own agenda.
You really believe the IRA where good loyal catholics? Or the UDL where good protestant boys?
Ever wondered why the people behind the IRA and UDL type groups have more to lose from peace, and have now lost a religious cover for their mass organised criminal rings?

Im sorry, I dont take it religion is the worls biggest evil, that God makes people bad.
People are bad all over the world, blaming God or claiming God is often an easy excuse.

I agree Bali is well over-rated, Rhyl for Aussies only different in that it's knee deep in trannies and prossies.

As work dictates that I live here I tend to make the most of what is presented to me, rather that then be eternally miserable. Prefer to be in Singapore (which was home for 12 years) .. as they say "one man's meat is another man's poison".
