.....Fellaini basically saying he'll go this summer (or earlier) if we don't look like getting champions league

&

Mancini's little dig when Rodwell transferred over - "Now he is at a team that plays to win every game."

I reckon these two things have had a stinging effect on Moyes mentality and he's throwing off the shackles in his attitude. We're going for it more - I reckon last season he'd have never started Coleman today. Instead he'd have put Neville at RB and either dropped Fellaini back or put Hetinga in midfield.

Liking it...

That was a ridiculous comment by Mancini. We have never played a game just looking for a draw. It was just a bitter comment because we have had the better of them despite their billions. So back to your point, Moyes wouldn't have changed his attitude to go all out to win games just because Mancini suggested it. We just have a better squad with more attacking options.

probably more down to the fact we have better footballers like Pienaar. Comments in the press probably don't have any effect on the way moyes sets up in the slightest.

This. You have to play to ur strengths at times. I don't think it's any coincedence that when moyes has attacking players he play's attacking football. When not were more conservative.

I mean don't get me wrong it's obviously not all down to that - but for the positions we had to cover today we actually had the same options last season. I just feel that last season Coleman would not have been even considered for starting today. We'll never know if Cahill would have got the nod over victor (last season that definitely would have happened)

I see a change in Moye's mindset - see also the substitutions for the WBA game - towards a more attacking style. I think he senses this is a turning point season for his own ambitions as well as the club's. Step up or fade away.

I think moyesees hands are sometimes tied by the size of the squad and the players available to him due to injury. We finally look like we have plenty attacking options and I can see a lot of goals this season due to that.

Game at a time as they say but by fook we look like we can go places this year
