This links to a live-stream of Pokemon Blue.

The chat is used to put button commands into the game. So for example, if most poeple type 'up' in a certain amount of time, the character on screen will move up.

This works for all the button commands. It's a miracle how they've managed to make any progression

Highlights so far include somehow managing to earn 4 badges, spending 24 hours in Rock Tunnel and releasing a Charmeleon nicknamed 'ABBBBBBK C'.

Aye, they have a democracy vs anarchy feature though.

When in democracy mode, the next move is a vote.

In anarchy it just takes every move.

I find it super interesting, obviously it's hard to watch but I like coming back every hour or so to see how they've done.
