I know eleven sports have got the rights but when is the channel going online ? You’d think they’d be building it up and advertising it.

I see BT have the Spanish super cup .

Bold, but they're going to have to be marquee games.
Without offence to said teams, I can't envisage American fans licking their lips at Huesca Vs. Leganes to be perfectly honest.

If they send Barca, Real Madrid etc... they'd have to be the away games, and would clubs like Eibar, Huesca or Girona, who have stadiums holding less than 10,000 would want to lose one of their marquee matches abroad and lose out on the revenue!

There are lot of Spanish speaking people from Latin America in US,especially if they play games somewhere like Miami or Los Angeles,i bet also they gonna send Barca,Real or Atletico against some minnows, anyway in my opinion this is terrible for football, absolutely terrible toward real fans and ticket holders,[Poor language removed] chasing money, not long until Premier League follow unfortunately

So if its one game then I imagine its going to be el classico or the Madrid derby. The problem is that the home fans of one of them teams is going to miss one of the biggest games of the season.

Imagine the first el clsssico played at the Bernabeu then the second is in Texas. The Real Madrid fans would be missing out on the biggest home game of the season. Plus because the league is head to head results there, that would be a massive disadvantage. I dont know how they will manage that.

Its disgraceful though.

The Premier League has the appeal which La Liga crave for the Primera.

Whilst I have no doubt if they sent Everton and West Ham over, they'd get a pretty solid turnout, I'd imagine the likes of Burnley, Watford, Brighton to not have same appeal, i have no doubt it would be successful. I hope it doesn't happen, but inevitably, it will. I'm convinced they'll start it off with the FA Cup though, and they'll trial it that way. The Premier League is too much of a gold mine to "test" it.
What La Liga lacks is much coverage outside of the "big" three. They have big teams Sevilla, Athletic Bilbao and Valencia for example, but there's so little coverage of them, that they're left behind, how the Spanish League gets away with the financial bias and media bias is appalling. Spanish Football is the worst standard it's been in years (minus the big 3), and they're still pumping the money in the the rich.

Isn’t this just like that 39th game they went on about years ago and never got off the ground?

Indeed it is a similiar concept, albeit more akin to the NFL playing a few games in London rather than every team playing one game abroad.....but we can expect that 39th game nonsense to raise its ugly head again.
