TV/Interwebz packages

I've just bought a house and need the advice of the GoT collective.

I've been with NTL/Virgin for the last 18 years on their cable packages and they've been fab but the new house doesn't have cable. I'll need a new package that includes sports channels for footy, cricket and motorbike racing, not really into the films or music channels and not a massive interweb user apart from mens jazz sites and general browsing.

Any pointers on which providers are decent or any good comparison websites?

lucky rascal, my house needs completely renovating, doing it all meself so that has curtailed my fun for the next 12 months. Post up some pics of your day fella, not been to the bridge for years

That's a shout that is, I pay £40 odd a month purely so I can have sports and record UFC and F1, I may cancel my package and see what I can do with the sport.

Everything is streamed now and more and more in HD. So as long as you have a fast internet and a bit of know how it can be done relatively easy. I'm blown away by Netflix too, the future of TV this ****.

I've had Netflix since about it came out, it's all we watch. I purely have sky for my sport and recording needs.

If you have any sport streaming tricks PM them over if you can't put them in here, would be much appreciated.

£27 a year i pay for HD streaming of all football matches and a lot of other sport (Golf, F1, Tennis etc.)

It's 100% DEFO legal as well.

Ah I see, yeh I'm pretty decent at getting a stream, as you say if not someone normally does. With a smart tv I'm guessing you can do it all on there you wouldn't have to stream through your laptop or anything?
