TV Guilty Pleasures

Morning all,

I'm pretty certain this is my first thread and it may die on its backside. But...

I was wondering what my fellow posters "Guilty Pleasures" are on the tellybox.

I'll start with mine..

Sex and the City.

Hear me out. I hate the show with a passion. It is utter drivel and I avoided it like bubonic plague for many years. Then my missus got the box sets and used to lash them on in the evening. I would constantly moan about it and mention how cack I thought it was. But when she fell asleep, I would watch further episodes on my own. I am not proud of this, but it got me good and it got to the point where I would have it on when playing football manager.

I know some people will just post "Porn". Have at it.

The Hills.

Massively got gripped by this whenever i stayed over with my then mrs in my uni days.

Jeremey Kyle, Traffic Cops?

I loved the Hills, not a guilty pleasure. It was nearly believable.

Judge Judy. And Jeremy Kyle. Mrs R Sky pluses them when she is working. On in the background at 5ish.

Quite like Judge Judy though.

It wasn't clearly scripted, not as badly edited as Made in Chelsea, the birds were fit, Spencer was a complete whopper in a good way and the mrs liked it.

No idea to be honest. I suppose it's entertaining in an un-realistic, brain dead kinda way. It's the kind of show I watch when I'm too tired to do anything worthwhile, you know?

I think that's exactly how I felt. Didn't have to think about what was happening. And I could judge them horribly for being vacuous slappers

Catfish is boss. I discovered the documentary on lovefilm a few years back when I was living in the states. Was really excited when they brought the series out. Bit formulaic but enjoyable. Watched it with the missus. We both got into it.
