....not normally any problems because the reds generally win. Could be trouble if we win, they can't take it you know.
I've been to the derbies from the mid 70's Eggs right up to the present day,no problems whatsoever when we would take our annual 3-1(it always seemed to be 3-1!) defeat, they'd patronise us tell us how great we were, everyone would bang on about the "friendly derby" fast forward to October 1984,we were developing into a very good side, bang Sharpy scores the goal of all goals,we win at the pit for the first time in fourteen years,on my way out of the Kop that day, bedlam, they just couldn't take us celebrating at their gaff, sums them up really as Corporal Jones once said in Dads Army,"They don't like it up 'em"lol

There are some sound ones if you look hard enough. I couldn't get a ticket for the Imre Varadi cup tie in 1980? so got the train to Liverpool to watch it at the ABC cinema. I got talking to one of the enemy on the way there, we ended up having a couple of beers and sat together to watch the game. When Varadi scored the winner, a rabid kopite behind us was threatening me with all sorts of nastiness, but the guy with me and many around him slapped the guy down. One of my favourite derby wins that, I think there were only about 5 blues in the cinema, I was well in the smug zone.
Edit. The guy I was with shook my hand after the game, how times have changed.

Most of my mates are kopites, grew up with them, all sound lads who've gone on to be good people, however they still spout absolute drivel when they bang on about Libpewl Fubball Club, and I don't half let them know itlol
