Same with the similar 4K format where unless you're going for over 55" and/or sitting a certain distance away, then it makes very little difference

Like all TV's it depends on what you're looking to get out of it, where it'll be placed, price limit...strictly gaming, movies and gaming? There's no simple answer unless you have bricks of paper in your pockets that can buy your way out of limitations.

Best bang for the buck...TCL 55S405. I nabbed one at Costco 2 or so months ago when they were $399 and use it strictly as a PC gaming monitor.

Performance/Price...Sony X900E

Zero eff's given...Sony A1E or most OLED's.
