True world class players

Posting today has got me thinking.

I know that in the modern age everying is THE BEST BEST EVER but if you're being stringent and looking at the true best players of all time - how many have you seen that are really world class?

It then got me thinking about Everton. Of the players I've seen if I'm being honest we only had one true World Class of all time player in Neville Southall. I was too young for the Holy Trinity etc.

Final thought being - how many true world class players have Liverpool genuinely had? I'm struggling. They've had some really wonderful players and no mistake but genuine elite World Class? Not for me.

Well, Phillip Lahm but he's not just a world class full back... he's just a world class footballer in general.

Southall, Kanchelskis and Duncan. All on their day were unplayable for Everton for me. I couldn't put anyone else into that category. Not arsed what a player achieved away from Goodison Park as an Everton player myself.
