Trip down Memory Lane - grounds/fields you have played on....

I was trying to remember all the places I used to play football in Liverpool as a kid/youth/young man in the late 60's through to the 80's

First game I can remember is on Clubmoor Rec as a 6 year old.........

Other places - Maiden Lane, Mersey Road, Mab Lane, Long Lane, Walton Park, Vauxhall's, South Liverpool, Wavetree, loads of places in south Liverpool but I can't remember their names.........

Anfield (blurgh), Ewood Park (Blackburn), Nene Park (Rushden & Diamonds/ Kettering), Deepdale (Preston) and our very own Goodison Park.

As well as Maiden Lane, Jericho Lane, Mossley Hill, Thomas Lane, Childwall Valley, Clubmoor, the one by Fazak hospital etc.

Barnham Drive, Jericho Lane, Caldway Drive, Woodlane, OLA/Chidlwall Valley, Childwall School, Manweb Club, Gateacre School and Some field in the middle of Rainhill that stunk of sh!t.

Pukekura Park, voted by Wisden the number one cricket ground in the world.
