Tried to do a review for the Grand old team bottle opener, kept on telling me either password or username was incorrect.
Annoying really, anyhow, bottle opener looks great, but does not play the Z-Cars intro music and when I stuck it to the fridge and took it off to open another bottle, one of the magnets came off the ball and stuck to the fridge. Could you pass on my review please, ta in advance.

When did you buy it mate? If recently/within the last six months I'll need to refund it now as none in stock. Reply to the order confirmation and I can sort.

I do test them all before sending out. If it was recently - Royal Mail have took ages to deliver them since the last batch come in November - perhaps Royal Mail have stored them outside/somewhere cold for a prolonged period and they've zapped the batteries, or they might have took a whack in transit?

Could you not just ask Danny for another one instead of leaving a bad review like ?

Thanks man.

We're quite lucky really;

603 Reviews - 4.93 Rating;

The miserable ones tend to be ones like this;

Dispatched her mishmash print within like 2 hours, but it's going to Canada/their post is chaos at the moment.

Instead of asking/checking their tracking, she left a 1* review.

Fair do's to anyone who works in retail, I don't know how they do it.

It is a disaster most of the year but this COVID has definitely made things worse.

Na no need for a refund, ordered it on the 29th November, arrived today, just wanted to pass on my experience with it, only a tenner, not the end of the world like.

Appreciate that mate - but it definitely needs refunding if it doesn't work.

I've just found your order and refunded it. Sorry about that.

If you send me a message when they're back in stock next year and remind me I'll send a replacement out.

They're usually pretty good/well received.

[Edit] Just checked tracking, they took weeks to deliver it. It then went back to a collection point and needed collecting. They're not the most durable of products - even though I've had mine for years - my guess is it's took a few whacks in those couple of weeks in transit mate.

Do you know why it's so bad mate?

Out of everywhere Worldwide, Royal Mail told me Canada is the worst place to send anything to since Covid.

Getting mail across a country as big as Canada has always been full of logistical challenges. I almost got a job working for their logistics department and there are a lot of factors contributing to why it is so bad. Main ones are huge country, low mail volume. This makes them hold onto mail until they reach the most cost effective point to load it up on an airplane to move it onto the local sorting centers. Depending on where exactly you are in the country your mail could hit multiple processing stops before getting to the last 100 miles. I am in the capital and it is still a disaster.

If it makes you feel any better my family hasn't had much luck sending things the other way either. Christmas prezzies for the family never get there on time even if we have mailed them a month or two before.

With COVID going on and Canada taking a stricter approach to lockdowns than most countries the Canada Post has been hammered with increased demand from everyone ordering packages online. Again, because the country is so big there isn't a lot of private options for shipping and Canada Post is usually a middle man even if they aren't the ones making final delivery.

Interesting to know, thanks.

Fess up, have you been paid by a rival forum to write negative reviews?
