Hi,

Just wondering if there is any organised travel from Kent for matches? I am working in Tunbridge Wells the week of United away and the train is extortionate! I have taken half day off weds afternoon to get up and half day thurs morning to get back with overnight kip at a mates in Stoke. Grim.

Anybody else travelling to the game from this direction?

Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Should be tons of Utd fans coming up from there mate. Hitch a lift?

Fair play mate.

Always great to see threads like this

Have you ever thought about having a car pooling thread? I'm sure there are lots of people who travel to both home and away matches who would be willing to share costs and also have some company during the journey.

Do you go to many home games or other aways? If so how do you travel to those?? Small world eh!
Not that many really I play football on Saturday and Sunday and would prefer to do that at the moment whilst I can. Last home game I got to was the West Ham game last season when my football seasons had finished.

National Express coaches can be quite reasonable but you need to book them in advance. I usually get a coach up to York where I stay with a friend who is also a blue and then drive from there.

Small world though! Hope you are enjoying the delights of Tunbridge Wells, slightly embarrassing to think Tunbridge Wells FC have been at Wembley much more recently than Everton!

Fair play - I've got a few mates who play for Crowborough so played against them last week. Who are you playing for?

Fair play on the travel makes sense. I looked at the coaches but they take SO long! also finding the most expensive part of the trip to Manchester is the bit from here to London!

I play for Tonbridge Invicta, but also know a couple of the Crowborough (Saturday Team) players.

You can get National Express coaches from Tunbridge Wells to London Victoria. I think they take around an hour and quarter.
