Transfer tickets

Hi I am visiting with my son from USA for 3 days and my uncle and cousin have said we can have their tickets for the match tomorrow but we can't work out how to transfer them.

Someone said we have to join the membership but that's a lot of money for one match as we only travel to Liverpool every 10 or so years.

Is there any other way we can use their tickets? They are season ticket holders and the cup match is attached to it.

they could send the emails they get with tickets (assuming not season tickets) to you to download

another option is for you to log in to their membership on your phone and download the ticket. they would need to remove it from wallet first

the final option is to take their phone to the match. i was going to say to get them to scan you in but you can’t get into plaza without a ticket

Thanks for your help everyone I don't know why they have made it so difficult. We can't afford the £50 tickets but thank you for looking. Logging onto their membership might be the only option it's just a lot of messing around.

They said there is a barcode on the season ticket on apple pay can they take a screenshot of this will that work on the scanner?

No, it’s NFC not a code reader.

There are two options for season tickets, QR code and NFC. However, i think the QR code changes periodically so you would need a screenshot of it just prior to entering to be sure.

The hardest option of all is to try and transfer cup tickets from a season card. Even if you buy a membership season ticket holders can only transfer premiership games. There’s no option to transfer or resell cup tickets once you have bought them. So no point you buying a membership. They have said screenshots won’t work but who knows…..The only sure way is to use their phone with the tickets. Some people have resorted to getting a ‘burner’ phone and putting all their season tickets on that…….

Yeah,there's no option to transfer Mansfield game,auto cup scheme I just get an email saying season tickets have been activated,I have a burner phone both phones still saying Brighton next fixture

It is in theory possible but the club seem to be making it very difficult to get them and lots of people have been turned down. In addition there are reports that several people who did get cards found that they didn’t work on Sunday……

I’ve already posted this earlier in an other thread, but there is no option to transfer cup tickets to another membership, it is only league games. Don’t waste your money on the membership.

Me and a mate were testing it out this morning as I may have a spare ticket for him.
