Transfer Rumour: Nadir Belhadj

According to sources in France, Belhadj is being looked at by a number of Premier League clubs including Everton, QPR and Fulham. Belhadj is currently playing for Al Sadd in the Qatar Stars League. It is thought that belhadj can be signed for as little as Â£1.5 million as he is coming towards the end of his contract. Sources believe that Belhadj would relish the chance to once again prove himself in one of the worlds greatest leagues and at the age of 30 it would need to be sooner rather than later.

Former Portsmouth star Belhadj can operate as Left back but his preferred position is as an attacking wing back and it is thought that Moyes is looking at cover for potentially outbound Leighton Baines.

All I know of him is from his world cup game against America. He was awful. Course, that was a grand total of 1 game.

first game i ever saw him, he came on as sub for pompey, and tore their right full back a new one, then had a boss game when they played, milan? was it?

i couldnt hear what the commentator was calling him, thought he was saying el-hadj (like that other knut), i then got to calling him El Hadj-Not Diouf......so for that....get him in!
