Strac was actually a decent footballer did what his job was well, Held it up and laid it off to others, Won headers, Won tackles, Worked harder than anyone, I actually think if he was still here we wouldve won some of the games we had drawn and he wouldve adapted to the prem.

He is a mediocre player. He's strong and wins most headers, has a good work ethic and thats about it. Not good enough for Everton. unbelieveably he somehow got 6 caps for Belgium :huh:

Hmmm. Wins headers and works hard. That sounds like Moyes' favoured type of player, irrespective of whether he has any natural skill or ability or a clever footbaling brain.

I have to say I agree. He was hopeless when he started but gained a bit of confidence (especially from scoring a goal) and even started to make a few little flick passes here and there. Would have improved and already had a proven goalscoring record so he knew where the goal was, as they say.
