Transfer Rumour: Grant Hanley

Not a poor player though, definitly not as good as his honours and England caps suggest, but poor player, not a chance !

Do you really think he played for United all that time for some other reason other than, he was a good player !?!

He is a poor player now, every time I watch him play I physically wince at the sight of it. We are weaker side with him in it.

Just done what I said about Hanley & someone I know says he thinks it's a journo speculating (guessing) because of the rumours/possibilities of Heitinga leaving and because moyes & particularly tony Henry have watched Blackburn a few times. However I'm not sure there is any real interest in Heitinga anyway at the minute

only when they were playing against us i hope

Thanks mate.

I reckon/hope him and the scount bloke may have been watching Hoilett or N'Zonzi maybe rather than this lad who has been pretty awful every time i've seen him.

Perhaps because the media believe our most likely sale is Heitinga so we'll perhaps need a cheaper replacement ?

I may be wrong but the Heitinga reports surfaced relatively recently, but it seems we have been linked with numerous defenders from the moment the final whistle went against Newcastle (and Tim Cahill had a bit of word with that cnut Cabaye!)

Yeah possibly mate although I think (believe ) we've been trying to shift or at least looking into the possibility of moving Heitinga on. Also though I suppose the media look into us trying to sell Yobo and think we'll need a replacement even though he hasn't played for us for 2years

Yeh see where you are going with that. Might not be a bad thing for Heitinga to move on? He seems to have an annual "accident" where he does an interview with a European newspaper and he is supposedly misquoted about being open to a move. At the end of the day we want players who want to play for us and who don't have an eye on the market all the time. Living abroad I don't get to games (first one in years was the January shocker where we lost 2-1 at home to Bolton and Tim Howard scored), so I have no clue whether Shane Duffy is ready to step up yet?

alec ferguson said he'll easily be a scotland regular for the next 10-15 years. not sure how big a compliment that is though (sorry jock)
