Transfer Rumour: Bruno Martins Indi

In all honesty I've only properly seen him play in 2014 in the World Cup as we'd been linked with him back then.

I was very underwhelmed.

few places now, plus esk mentioned him

any good? i await my eduction...

Personally, I think it's a bit of a strange one.

He's not been good at all in Portugal - and that's a league where Mangala looked decent. Even if Stones goes (now virtually guaranteed), I'm not sure where he'll fit in with Jagielka, Mori, Holgate, Galloway (loaned?), Williams (looking very likely). As he's likely to be the most expensive defender at the club, you'd presume he's not being bought as backup.

I'm still not convinced Funes Mori will end the window with us.

I remember it was strange when he went to Porto as he was linked with some top clubs in the big leagues (not saying Porto aren't a great standard, which they are but he was linked to the likes of United).

Not sure on him really, but he'd probably be a reasonable price and is still only 24. Koeman would know a lot about him so I'd trust his judgement but I would guess him signing would end our interest in Koulibaly.

Watched him a handful of times and never impressed. He got dominated by an American who at the time was still an amateur college player when we played the Netherlands a couple years back. Definitely didn't look prem standard. The one thing I can say is that I think he's kept VVD out of their national side pretty well. I could be making that up though.

Everybody whos watched him play says hes an utter shambles.

SWERVE
Always wonder whether these people that have watched him have gone out of their way to watch just him in these matches? If so, fair enough, though I would think it unlikely.

Know a few lads from Porto mate, who follow us, they are made up to get rid of him and equally wound up we are signing him, don't rate him in the slightest.

yeah he played well for Komean in the past - but that was in the Dutch league - son as he stepped up to a moiderately better league he has been exposed, will be a flop in this league

Hope not.

Mori is an utter carthorse.
