Player Valuation: £80m
1) Man Utd €505,000,000
2) Man City €440,000,000
3) Chelsea €428,000,000
4) Liverpool €315,000,000
5) Arsenal €270,000,000
6) Spurs €240,000,000
7) Everton €115,000,000

Interesting. Man U is right up there with Real Madrid (the highest at around 560 million).

Everton is amazing

Some back of envelope calcs :

I would hazard a wage bill for the club (all staff, players etc) at £70,000,000

Turnover this year (incl EL attendances/prize money) should be £130,000,000

Basically, at say 55% that's a pretty healthy ratio.

Further :

If operating costs are about 25 million quid, and assuming for simplicity player trading is net zero ,I would expect an annual cash profit (before depreciation/tax interest) of around £35,000,000 going forward.

I have no idea of the tax status but would look toward £25,000,000 as the annual transfer budget going forward (assuming no player sales)

The wage bill seems low and the turnover awfully high.
T/over prior to TV money increase of 33mio/year was (from accounts) 86mio. I So add the two gets 119mio. I suggest attendances (season ticket sales) are up, gear sales up and EL games plus prize money(!!) might get us to 130 mio .

The wage bill for 2012/13 was 63 mio...I might be conservative at 70million

we might play 9 home games in EL....say 6million revenue.
Total prize money (when we win!) is 8 million pounds
Extra TV money....?

I think 130 million revenue is very attainable.

Suppose if we get to the later knockout rounds we could earn 11m.

The system for the UEFA Europa League is
similar, though the sums available are lower,
the total pot of
€209m including a contribution
from the UEFA Champions League revenue
pool. The rewards were certainly there for
winners Sevilla FC, who received over
€14.6m,
nearly
€4m more than any club in 2012/13.

exactly mate.

In summary :the large picture is looking pretty good...and there is A LOT of incentive to perform

In your scenario we would need to finish at least 5th and get to the later stages of pretty much every cup comp we entered.

As you say, the incentive to perform is there, but theres a LOT of variables.

To be fair, the Manager has given us every chance, we have a fairly bulky squad at the moment, but we have a few weak areas and a few injuries to certain players would really hurt us.

The futures certainly bright, but its not just us that has access to this massive cash boom.
