Dropped into the relegation zone after getting beat 2-0 away at Leyton Orient today.

They need to get at least a point at home to Bradford next week, AND hope that Crewe lose at home to Preston. Or a win vs Bradford and hope that Notts County lose away at Oldham, in order to stay up.

So what do we reckon then, Tranmere going down?

Still remember them with their 'St Yates Day' taunts because they once beat us 3-0.

A fair number of Tranmere fans always seemed to have a chip on their shoulder with us, whereas they have a love-in relationship with Liverpool. Maybe it was just bitterness over the whole Peter Johnson/Steve Simonsen sagas.

Don't really like Tranmere, i don't know what it is about them, as i quite like Southport, Chester, Skem, Marine etc.. but just haven't warmed to Tranmere, want them to stay up mind, as never like to see local sides go down.

Used to go over for the Friday night matches in the early 90s. It was the only way we (some of us Toffees, some RS) could watch football together as mates. It was dead cheap to get in, they got good gates, and in those days Tranmere were a good team to watch. We stopped going when Aldridge took over as manager and things have never been the same. Hope they get out of the mess they're in.

Im from Tranmere/Rock Ferry border and i hope they go down for my mates who support them after all the crap i still get after the 0-3 they give us

I hope that scrotum bag Johnson's team get relegated , I also hope his boyhood team fall short at the last hurdle.

got to know a couple of the tranmere lads this season, had wallace been fit they would be nowhere near the bottom, he's that important, wonder where ronnie moores money is going this weekend

I think the police investigations into alleged betting on matches, coupled with their manager getting sacked because he admitted breaching FA betting rules didn't exactly help them either. You wonder what else is going on behind the scenes there, that hasn't been made public.
