Anyone have any views on Tranmere or their fans?

I've bleached that 3-0 in the cup out of my mind but one must never forget the part time kopite smackrat anti scouse behaviour that day.

Can you start a Barcelona and Arsenal thread for Carlos 21 please mate

When football was affordable I used to go and watch Tranmere play as they were fifteen minutes away. They used to play a lot on a Friday night so went to see them and then go to Goodison on the Saturday. They yo-yoed a lot between the old third and fourth divisions. When people moan about grim football I remember some of those matches and wince. Attendances hovered around 3,000 and a perpetual drizzle hung in a haze. The only saving graces were it was cheap to go, the ground was open so you could change ends at half time and the coffee was so hot it lasted half an hour. I still look out for their results.
