haha they are an odd lot, no question of thatThe day I go on holiday. Sake.
Hopefully one of their fans climbs on the cow shed roof and threatens to jump again.

i quite like tranmere. i remember as a kid playing footy on the grass outside meadowside school on the woodchurch when about 6-7 of the tranmere first team went jogging past. we shouted hello to them and they came over, had a kick around, signed some autographs etc....this was a while ago like so the players werent really famous, the ones i remember were ian muir, eddie bishop, jim steel, steve mungall, johnny morrisey, eric nixon and i think it was shaun garnett. a lot of them lived in arrowe park and i think they said a few of them shared a house in sherry lane and that ray mathias ( manager at the time ) lived pretty much across and down the road from them so they had to be good!. i went to high school with ray's son and they were a lovely family, especially his oldest sister ( hi kim!!! X ). we used to watch them all the time as we got quite a few free tickets....playing very well this year too, hope they go up!.
We're playing them in pre-season
Contemplating whether to go and whether to travel by train or car should I do so
Anyone got the train to Prenton Park before? Is there any decent parking near the ground?
Cheers
There are a few buses that go from Liverpool City Centre if that is easier for you.
Cheers mate
Might just drive to Liverpool and then get the train/bus from there. Might be easier than getting the train from Stockport to Birkenhead Central or just driving straight to Birkenhead and trying to get a parking space
Know there'll be places to park near Lime Street and it's only 9 minutes on the train to Birkenhead Central
